DEGREASING

We are well aware that not everybody requires a shiny and as new finish. With this in mind if you have items where you want to maintain the patina but require a deep clean we can do this using our heated degreasing cabinet. By heating solvent free degreasing solution up to 60 degrees this helps to remove stubborn dirt and grime without loosing the character of age of your item.

Preparing Your Items for Us

 

• Parts will need to be dismantled and all internal components removed i.e. bearings, seals etc. 

• If you require us to dismantle your items we are happy to do so at an additional cost

 

Please note the cleaning process can reveal defects such as stress fractures. FWD cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing damage revealed during the cleaning process. If defects are identified we will inform you immediately.
