Cerakote Piston Coat
Cerakote Piston Coat is a ceramic thin film thermal barrier coating designed to be applied on the top of pistons, valves, and the combustion chamber on a cylinder head. It is suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Ceramic coating pistons can assist higher fuel burning efficiency and reduce carbon accumulation, which in turn makes detonation more effective. Cerakote Piston coat helps keep heat in the combustion chamber and the cylinder head cooler. In doing so, you get the heat out of the cylinder head into the exhaust, thus yielding higher horsepower and increased engine longevity.
Cerakote Micro Slick
Cerakote Micro Slick is a thin film coating used to assist with friction areas and shedding of oil. It is used to reduce friction on a variety of internal engine components such as piston skirts, valve stems, cams, cranks, and the underside of valve covers.
Cerakote Piston Coat and Micro Slick has been used in the field for a number of years, notably by several top fuel drag teams and piston manufacturers, and can tolerate operating temps of up to ​982°C 1,800°F.
